Toronto Outdoor Picture Show (TOPS) is a charitable organization (#815672589 RR0001) dedicated to bringing high quality, diverse, and engaging outdoor film programming to communities across the city of Toronto. The festival’s carefully curated programme includes a combination of popular and critically-acclaimed feature films from around the world alongside local and Canadian short and feature films that allow us to celebrate excellent homegrown talent.

TOPS’ began as Christie Pits Film Festival (CPFF) in 2011, founded by Artistic & Executive Director Emily Reid, snowballing into a cornerstone of west end Toronto’s summer calendar as it grew rapidly. In January 2015, the organization incorporated as a not-for-profit in the name of Toronto Outdoor Picture Show, and in 2020 as a charity. For the past decade it has presented programming in several communities across Toronto each summer, with an annual attendance of approximately 25,000.

TOPS full-time staff members (L to R): Shelby Leimert, David Osubronie, Isabella Brown, and Emily Reid.
