aUDIO Description
As part of the 2025 festival, TOPS will offer live Audio Description (AD) to blind, low vision, or visually impaired audience members, upon request. This service will be available at select screenings, with seating in a designated area, offering descriptive commentary that will complement the film’s audio deriving from TOPS’ speakers.
Attendees who would like to use the audio description service in a designated seating area should make their request at least 3 days before the screening by sending an email to accessibility@topictureshow.com to ensure that we can accommodate your accessibility needs. Upon arrival at these events, individuals should introduce themselves to any staff member to be shown to the Audio Description seating area. Please find the list of seven screening events, dates, and locations which offer AD below.
